We are developing specialised instrumentation and gear for use
in rivers, lakes, coastal waters and the deep sea in co-operation
with universities, research organisations and governmental agencies.
Training our clients in the use of our instruments and gear is,
of course, included. During the passed years we have built drifting
measuring buoys including data transmission, a laboratory unit for
investigation of air bubbles and time controlled sampling devices
for shallow water use and as special units for deep-sea lander systems.
Additionally we developed a new power saving deep-sea light source
and a low light deep-sea video camera.
In addition, we build proven gear for use in ocean research and
take into account the special wishes of our clients. Construction
of gear equipped with our photo and video capabilities as well as
those of our clients request is also offered, e.g:
- Box-corer and Van Veen Grab of different size
- Multiple corer, different size and numbers of cores
- Deep-sea lander systems
- Liquid sampling devices, time controlled or adjustable to the
situation for in-situ sampling

We would be happy to put our technical capabilities and experience
at your disposal in caring for and maintaining your electrical and
mechanical instrumentation and gear in our workshop at Kiel, from
ashore, and aboard research vessels. All our technicians gained
long experiences on cruises on board of German and foreign research
vessels in the North- and South Atlantic Ocean, in Antarctic and
Arctic Waters, the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.
We also provide maintenance and service of electronic and acoustic
diving equipment.
